Groceries on top of a Sub Woofer?

I was wondering if I can put groceries on top of a 12 inch dual sub woofer? I have a Mercury Grand Marquis so I have a pretty big trunk. I usually put things like milk and whatever other groceries in the trunk but they're all in plastic bags. Just afraid something would go wrong.
 
as long as the speaker cone itself isnt touched it will be of...mind you bass can move the plastic bags quite a bit[moving air]...but no harm will come of it.
