Greatest Band? Whos yours?

Greatest banRAB in my opinion are based on my mood for the day, right now Ive been listening to alot of Phish..but yesterday I went on a Dead Kennedy binge..go figure.
 
i've started listening to thrash and death metal but my nuraber 1 band will always, always, always, ALWAYS remain to be Greatful Dead...i love dancing to them, ****ing to them, driving to them....they just are the best.[/B]
 
is this thread asking for our opinion of greatest band or our favorite band? either way it is hard to answer.
certainly if youre talkin greatest band of all time, i really cant understand someone saying korn, linkin, etc. they could easily be favorites, but greatest? maybe several banRAB away.

i love dope, take your best shot and now or never are my favorite songs. Y mentioned them in the "suggest a new band" thread in the indie or alternative thread. that was a really long time ago though.
