Great films that are hardly ever, if ever, shown on TV.

Thanks for that, my OP has led somewhere, Great stuff.

I just used that link and asked, if possible for a proper "Hitchcock" season, a "Jimmy Stewart" season (I specifically asked for Its a Wonderful Life like other posters here,... its true I have not seen it on tv in Ages) Also I asked about the Lord Of The Rings Extended Version of the Trilogy.

There's quite a few films I haven't seen on TV for a while but I'd particularly like to see The Fearless Vampire Killers again, I remember it being quite strange but can't remember if it was any good or not.

Coast to Coast. A little gem of a British comedy that hasn't been shown in many years. What's even worse is that due to various issues, you can't even get it on DVD (legitimately).

Oh and in a similar vein, Restless Natives.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
The Return of Spinal Tap
Hammer Horrors: The Old Dark House, Captain Clegg, The Gorgon, The Reptile, The Ghoul, Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter, Plague of the Zombies, The Lost Continent, Quatermas and the Pit, Dracula, The Satanic Rites of Dracula,

Never Let Go.

A little gem of a B/W British movie from 1960. Richard Todd stars as a struggling cosmetics salesman that saves up to buy a new car (A brand spanking new Ford Anglia), only to have it stolen by a gang of car thiefs led by Peter Sellers (in a rare but very effective role as a villain).

I only ever saw this on tv once, but I was completely captivated by it. Todd gives an excellent performance as a desperate man determined not to give in to the crooks, and get his car back. Sellers is quite menacing as the chief villain, a sort of evil version of his Fred Kite persona from I'm Alright Jack.
