I freely admit me quoting phatcyclist had absolutely nothing to do with the content of his post. It's just been something that's been irritating the shit out of me lately.
 
What actually bothers me is a lot of kiRAB can't get FAFSA loans because their parents are middle class and/or are scurabags that won't stop claiming them as dependents on their tax returns.
 
I don't disagree, but we're talking about private scholarships.

The illegal kiRAB shouldn't be there in the first place, but that's another discussion. The state gov't should have any say in who can or cannot get private scholarships to begin with.
