Good foreign horror films?

I posted something like this a few months ago but it was mainly regarding Asain films. Anyway I was looking for world wide film that are thriller/horror, any good ones?

Frontiere's was indeed a derivative and at times very dumb French horror, if you are a person who just watches for gory scenes then you might enjoy certain scenes.

Talking of French horror, a good one is Inside.
 
I couldn't finish it. I thought it was rubbish, but the girl was hot.

They tried to be comical and serious at the same time, and it didn't work, for me.
 
has anyone seen Retribution (Japan - Sakebi)? Watched a bit of it when I was in Hong Kong recently but the subtitles were in Cantonese and obviously they were speaking in Japanese so had no idea what was actually going on but caught my attention nonetheless!
 
Cronos (Mexican film about vampirism)

Antibodies (German film about Hannibal Lector type serial killer)

Autopsy (Okay this is Japanese, but it's really horrible)

Brotherhood of the Wolf (French : one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen, and really hard to categorise)
 
1981 Polish arthouse-horror Possession, which was briefly, ludicrously banned as a video nasty. It isn't nasty, but it is one of the most weird, hysterical films you'll ever see. They certainly don't and wouldn't dare make 'em like that anymore.
 
They all are, aren't they? Chances are that any foreign language horror film that is known in the UK will be good, else it wouldn't have crossed the language barrier.
 
A lot of talk about French flick 'Martyrs',but we can't see it just yet.

It has mixed reviews,but nearly every review basically calls it 'f**king disturbing'!
