I think they should have stopped after Californication. Was a great album, but now are they are just trying to imitate it to death.
 
I guess I never really thought of it in that way before. Yeah, I suppose if a band has on the whole terrible material then they render themselves a bad band.

In terms of stopping, I meant from a creative standpoint. But then, of course that's being idealistic.
 
Yeah, you hate Joy Division and liked Bostons first album, you will be very welcome here.

But I do agree, their debut was great, but thats all they really had in them.

Sure you can, you get loaRAB of people who are so massively obsessed with a band that they feel the need to force it down your throat every second, even when no-one cares.

In this case though, no not really.
 
Boston is a good example

That debut album is very very good, they had a few other decent tracks, but never anything close to as good as the self title.
