Going to see 1408 tonight; what's it like?

It is fantastic.

I wouldnt say it is massively scary, but there are a few parts which make you jump.

If you've never, ever seen a horror movie before in your entire life, by all means go; if you have, don't bother.

Okay I'm back from the cinema guys and....I quite liked it. It was pretty tense and creepy when he initially arrived at the hotel but some later parts DID beggar belief,and I didn't care too much for the sentimental undertones re: his daughter.

I wouldn't buy the DVD but I'd recommend other people to go and see it.

Is it wrong that some parts reminded me of The Shining?
