Going to see 1408 tonight; what's it like?

Until the central conflict involving the John Cusack character and his family surfaces... -everything is fine.

It starts to go south when
-the doppelganger shows up.

Okay I'm back from the cinema guys and....I quite liked it. It was pretty tense and creepy when he initially arrived at the hotel but some later parts DID beggar belief, and I didn't care too much for the sentimental undertones re: his daughter.

I wouldn't buy the DVD but I'd recommend other people to go and see it.

Is it wrong that some parts reminded me of The Shining?
