I know a lot of people are now using Gmail due to the 1 Gigabyte storage. There is a program called Gmail-lite which allows a Palm (or Pocket PC etc.) to read gmail by accessing the Gmail account in a small footprint screen. There are a few sites which have the service available, but the concern is that these sites may be recording username and passwords to "steal/read etc" the information passing through. I would feel more secure in using this service through PDA Street Forums than going through an unknown server. I understand that it is only necessary to install this application on a web server to provide the service.
IF it is a "simple" application that could be installed on the PDA Streets server, with minimal impact on bandwidth, it would provide a great service to all forum members.
Thanks for your consideration of this suggestion.
