Could Columbia Pictures just make a Ghostbusters 3 without the involvement of Rammis and Aykroyd,or do those two have some sort of co-rights to the brand and characters.
If Columbia could go straight ahead without Rammis and co,then I can't see why they eventually won't just make a third movie with a whole new cast starring some of todays top comedy boxoffice draws (i.e Ben Stiller,Seth Rogen,Jack Black,Steve Carrell,Martin Lawrence etc) as the Ghostbusters.
Despite the fact it would no doubt upset fans of the original movies, there is really no reason it would not be a huge financial success, especially if it's actually good.
