Funniest Scene/Line/Character you've heard in a movie

what is your funniest Scene, Line or Character you seen in a movie. One of my favourite characters must be Zach Galifinakas or whatever his name is in The Hangover some of his lines are brilliant although he is a gross character. There are some funny lines in Chopper but i cant think of any that i can remember right now
 
Lloyd Bridges in Hot Shots.

"At dawn tomorrow we attack the enemy toast"

"Err, I think that's coast, sir"

"Eh? Well, it'll require a little more planning, but it doesn't matter."

All good examples but surely Alan Rickman in Robin has to be a svery strong contender if not the best.

"You c**k juggling thunder c**t" Ryans ReynolRAB to parker Posey in Blade Trinity.

Not intrinsically funny I guess but I was just agog as the sheer randomness of the worRAB and their sudden arrival.
 
From The Rutles - All You Need Is Cash: the 'George Martin' character, Archie McGraw, tells how the Rutles' manager turned up at his recording studio:
'Well, one day this rather odd chap hopped into the office. He'd been to see virtually everyone in the business and been shown the door. He asked to see MY door, but I wouldn't show it to him.'
 
Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Pineapple Express were epically funny films for me.
I literally can't pick a "funniest scene/line". Case of "so much, so little time" :p

Gotta mention the hospital scene, in The Dark Knight. Inspired genius, the casual walk, the reactions.everything about it. Such an awesome scene :D
 
Clouseau: "Does your dog bite?"
Swiss Hotelier: "No."
Clouseau: "Nice doggy..." Pats dog, which then tries to take his hand off.
Clouseau: "I thought you said your dog did not bite!"
Swiss Hotelier: "That is not my dog."

There's the Guy Gadbois scene in Return of the Pink Panther which is another comedy highlight for me, and all The Clouseau/Cato fight scenes which usually have my crying with laughter as well. :o


Another personal favourite is the TraceBuster scene from a slightly obscure film called "The Big Hit." That is very funny indeed. :D
 
I liked the scene in one of the Pink Panther films (can't remember which one) where he is trying out the athletics equipment "They called me the Pavlova of the parrallel bars !" and he jumps off a vaulting horse, only to fall down a flight of stairs !
 
generally anything by The Marx Brothers.

Leaving Holiday on the Buses aside for today, every scene with Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack, and Steve Martins encounter with the travel lady in Planes,Trains............ always set me off.
 
So many, including ones already stated here - Airplane, Spinal Tap etc.

So many others - Dr Strangelove (the war room scene), Withnail and I ("We've gone on holiday by mistake" - one of my all-time favourite lines), Carry On Up the Khyber (Peter Butterworth cracking up during the dinner party scene - "Strawberry mousse!")
 
Some of the carry on movies always get me laughing. Up the Khyber where Terry Scott & Charles Hawtrey are looking to fend of the charging burpers.
Terry Scott shouts 'Eat this you swine!' Turns the handle on the machine gun & starts to play a tune!
 
Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) in National Lampoon's Vacation. It's the scene where they're lost, it's raining and he's having some sort of breakdown:

"I think you're all fu**ed in the head. We're ten hours from the fu**ing fun park, and you wanna bail out! Well, I'll tell you something, this is no longer a vacation . . . it's a quest! It's a quest for fun! I'm gonna have fun, and you're gonna have fun! We're all gonna have so much fu**ing fun we'll need plastic surgery to remove our Goddamn smiles! You'll be whistling Zip-a-dee-doo-da out of your a**holes! I've got to be crazy! I'm on a pilgrimage to see a moose! Praise Marty Moose!"
