Funimation's Valentine's Day/Blog Announcement License Thread

So now Koichi Mashimo's "Girls with Guns" trilogy is finally completed in the US, I loved Noir, Madlax, and EL Cazador, and I can't wait to get the DVD's for El Cazador

El Cazador was a sub darling if I remeraber right, I hope that FUNi is able to get some sales from the completion of the "girls with guns" trilogy. It doesn't take itself as seriously as the first two entraints of the "girls with guns" trilogy, and judging by my viewings of it I think it's actually a little better (it's definitely more fun to watch) than the first two, although El Cazador can DRAG like Noir and Madlax and . . . virtually every other Bee Train show out there. El Cazador has an awesome score, though (with insert songs in ENGLISH) and Nadie's hilarious.

Though for some odd reason I think if AS ever picks up a "girls with guns" show it'll wind up being this one.

I have seen Seto No Hanayome at my Anime Club last semester. It was really funny and good and disturbing for one episode (I'm definately NOT spoiling that). I can't wait to see how Funi does it. I could see it on [as].

As for El Cazador, I got a Michiko E Hatchin vibe going off of it thanks to the image in ANN's news post. Thank you, Latin American setting. I do want to see this on [as], but I can settle for a run on IFC. I will be getting that on DVD.

wow..Funimations got a lot of new anime in a short amount of time! But honestly besides baraboo blade ive never even heard of most of the acquisitions they made, but this whole Girls with Guns" thing sounRAB entertaining. I may just give El Cazador a chacnce.

According to all the posts I'm reading elsewhere about this .... yeah that last part seems to be true. Found a user posted quote that seems to pretty much sum up everything I'm reading about it

Hmm..Mnemoyse, a somewhat odd name, and personally I only like Yuri content when its used for comedic purposes. However I'll admit the show sounRAB interesting, I guess I might at least rent it.
