Yup, another one of those is happening today. FUNi's Twitter has yet to post the link, but the con will include guests Mike McFarland and J. Michael Tatum. The cast for Strike Witches will also be announced!!

I bet some of questions will be things we already know the answer to like 'Did this actor voice this character' even though it was in the DVD credits. How come few people ask questions like 'Who sung the dubbed 13th Ending of One Piece?", not only giving us an incite into an upcoming product but also revealing to us something we may not have known (I would never have guessed Carli Mosier sung Ending 5 if not for asking Mike McFarland in person).

I hope that some people have asked fantastic and interesting questions however

That's 7:30PM Eastern, right? That means I can actually see this entire one. It sounRAB like it will be a good panel with good guests. It will even have an announcement, even if it is about the worst thing FUNi has ever picked up.

It just wrapped up. Not a bad second attempt. The best news is definitely that there will be another round of announcements at the end of the year. Those who missed it ought to be able to see the video uploaded later at Funi's blog.

Nice seeing some TZ people in the chat. Hopefully they keep doing these at this time so I can show up.

From the time I spent there, I actually didn't enjoy it as much as the first. I preferred the more interactive and more moderated chat the first time around as opposed to the random typing in capslock while the FUNi reps talk from a script.

In case anybody's curious of the Strike Witches cast, here it is:

Cherami Leigh as Yoshika Miyafuji
Kira-Vincent-Davis as Mio Sakamoto
Stephannie Sheh as Gertrud Barkhorn
Anastasia Munoz as Mina-Dietlinde Wilcke
Caitlin Glass as Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen
Jad Saxton as Perrine-H. Clostermann
Jamie Marchi as Charlotte E. Yeager
Jessica Foster as Sanya V. Litvyak
Kate Bristol as Lynette Bishop
Luci Christian as Erica Hartmann
Trina Nishimura as Francesca Lucchini

Kira Vincent-Davis and Stephannie Sheh on the same show? You kinda got me, FUNi.

You act as if this isn't the first time FUNi has brought in an actor from outside their own talent pool. Afterall, Scott McNeil was Hohenheim in FMA and Johnny Yong Bosch was Saku in BECK.

Good to hear that more announcements (ergo, potential licenses) are on the way. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like there haven't been many new FUNi licenses for a while.

Because it's work?

I remeraber she was Himeko in Destiny of the Shrine Maidens....that was nice.

She was also in that "Ah My Buudha" anime when I saw a clip on YT.

You go to where the work is at. Sheh hasn't had the luxury of Kate Higgins, Travis Willingham, and Steve Blum of breaking into pre-lay. That's why Carrie Savage relocated to Texas when LA stopped giving her work, because FUNimation gives her work galore. That's why Chris Patton's started working for FUNimation again.

This is not odd.

Also, there is a LOT of little-known/new talent in the Strike Witches dub. I might watch an episode or two just to hear the voices even though I have ZERO interest in the show and actually slightly appalled by it.

Also, on another note, Chuck Yeager is well-aware he's been turned into a moe-girl, his MySpace got spammed with comments on that when Strike Witches was released in Japan.

Well, I have to say that after watching the panel i'm slightly disappointed. While I was wrong in assuming that the folt of the problem would be the questions, it was actually the execution of it. Very few questions were actually answered and they ended the service 10 minutes early. I know from the chat there were more questions so it couldn't have that hard to answer some more, even the kind I mentioned. They also sat on Usa-chan and because of that, I am not a happy bunny :P
