FullMetal Alchemist New Series 2009

I loves both episodes, were far better than the original attempt.The art and animation is also just spectacular, should I say as good as Gundam 00?

Also, the one with the gate was better described in this one, it really interests me. This explained why Ed and his teacher can use alchemy without transmutation circle. Allot of interesting stuff.

The fact that their only mom they loved is enough determination. You also have to consider that Ed lost part of his body and Al lost his entire body adRAB to this motivation. If you knew that you could revive your mom using alchemy...would it be enough for you to revive her?

Also, they have created a monster out of a person who they love the most, isn't that enough?
 
Episode 24 was great, where is Ed, it looks like he has shrunk and is in Gluttony's stomach I wonder what will happen with Roy, will they try to kill him straight off or try to bring him in somehow.
 
Yes. Really. There is no actual Nazis in the FMA series. That was only added in for the movie, all the-other-side-of-the-gate thing.

So no Nazis should be in the new anime.
 
Well I have watched up to ep 13.... and I got to say im impressed with this one so far. Like the animation, voices didn't change alot, and the story is following the manga pretty close with a few diferances of course.

Going to watch 14-16 since I got time now =)
 
Yeah, this week's episode was great. I know it's fast, but on the plus side you should all feel good knowing that there are bigger and better fights to come.
 
Not necessarily. It's entirely possible that they will opt for and actively seek out the voice actors they used in their first attempt (the FMA series we've all seen today). The point of re-casting is that they cannot guarantee that they will secure the same voice actors. Also consider that there will be new characters to give voices to on top of the old ones they may or may not re-acquire.
 
Hrmm, theres certainly alot of speculation about FMA's second season.
I must admit, the first one was absolutly awesome.
Though i can't really speculate that the second season will be better because it's based off the manga; (i haven't read it yet)
But reguardless for better or for worse, i'll still watch it till the very end!

I am optimistic about this. I remeraber seeing a commercial for FMA before it came out and after watching the first episode, was hooked.
A remake or not, so long as the voice actors are the same, I will be a happy camper.

I never read the manga, actually I had the impression that the anime came first before the manga, but Im probably wrong.
 
You know this was a question I was always curious about cause if it existed it would be pretty awesome and make the world a better place especially for people who lost lirabs in accidents or soldiers who lost them in a way. But to me automail would be interesting to have and I searched it and this was someones opinion or more like a theory or something. First it explains the whole process of how we move our regular lirabs and I think this person trys to explain how automail is possible.




Any opinions on this very thorough explanation on the theory of automail possible could be real?
 
Yea I guess that was part of why I did not understand it myself. Being that we had really been discussing episodes but I get where your coming from.
 
Well its a weird yin yang thing cause if bad didnt exist then there would be no good and with that there would be chaos. Yes I know very confusing or I think it is.
 
Hagane no renkinjutsushi is simply put... AMAZING. Probably one of the best things I've read/seen in a LONG time. Simply FANTASTIC story line. I love how she doesn't forget ANYBODY. EVERYONE is a part of her story and they each have an important role. LOOOOOVE IT!
