FullMetal Alchemist New Series 2009

37 What was revealed surprised me but I doubt anything will come of this revelation till later in the series, makes me wanna pick up the manga again now that I'm caught up on the episodes.

Uh i hope its a continuation and not a remake, i was excited when i heard about this a few days ago but a remake will most likely ruin what was simply great.

I really don't like seen Mustang like this. It's almost out of his character, but yeah they way their illustrating this is pretty good.

What did you think of the new OP?

Also, I don't think the lieutenant was pointing the gun to him right? It was Envy?

I haven't read a lot of the manga yet, but were there chapters that didn't make the small screen? To me reboot means they are going to start over again and redo it. Of course I hope I'm wrong.

I'm confused about the father dude. Is he a clone or some **** of Ed's father. Is he really his father? Or does it just have the body of his father??
ITs very confusing because when they were fighting the father what appeared to be Ed's real father was traveling somewhere.

Ed & Al's seiyuu are the same. [I watched the entire first series in dub, but I do know that to be true ]

The nostalgia effect was fantastic for me too. I'm too lazy to have read the manga, so I'm excited to see what I've been missing come to life.

Now to go make all my frienRAB watch this. xD

even though i am comparing this remake with the original a bit, i'm also thinking about how woujld someone who never seen fma were watching this re-make would find it weird that the foundation of Ed and Al's entire journey to be so weak, the character developement for Ed's mom was not in depth enough to make the viewers give a damn that she died, and have no idea why it is enough drive for Ed and Al to work hard to transmute their mom. I'm looking it in both perspectives of people who ahve seen fma already and people who have not seen it

NVM ill take back what I said, the preview deceived me. If it was really him betraying that would have been a retarded set up, thanks god.

THese two last episodes have been just absolutely amazing, love this series thus far.

Actually, I think you've got it backwarRAB. Roy would be too out of character if he didn't act like he did. Especially considering that Envy killed a close friend and was much of an asshat to begin with.

The new OP is also growing on me. Didn't like it at first, but I've come to appreciate it... SID FTW.

Ehh, filler bad guy, but his backstory was entirely relevant to some major plotpoints that should come up a bit later on as flashbacks. Also was a nice way to introduce a lot of the cast we'll be seeing early on.

The plan they had to air all that stuff on the radio was masterful, it was funny seeing them toy with central on the phone pretending they couldn't come off air because guns were pointed at them I wouldn't want to piss Roy off in this mood, he is using his power so well on Envy, I knew it was Envy behind him though, unless she is pointing that gun elsewhere.
