FTWR Will Return?

April Fool, suckers!

Well, that's how it started, obviously, but as time went on, it became apparent that there was a need for something new and exciting.
Let us categorically state though, that the rabbit is dead, it won't be coming back.

But...

People seem to be insistant that a new site is coming, and it's coming today.
The answer to that is yes and no... We can finally admit that a new forum is in the works.
Unfortunately it's not quite ready yet, so you can't see it today :p

It seems we're going to have to work out an interesting way of letting people know...
Last count there were 240 people in #rabbit - more than the best times when we were active!
Are all the other sites out there that bad that you're just desperate? (;

We're not going to give out a new date just yet, but hope to in the near future.

The important thing you can all do now is get into #rabbit and wish Violinfaerie a very happy birthday!

That's a pity... they had really nice staff and members in general. It's very true that the channel has become filled with people who weren't ever members though... personally I frequented it for about a week before I got sick of "curious outsiders" showing up... kinda defeats the purpose. Not singling you about specifically, but I'm sure after dealing with hundreds of tards who were never members and probably showed up in the channel trying to get invited somewhere "1337", they've adopted a rather cynical viewpoint towards outsiders.

Speaking of "1337", I never really had that vibe from the site while it was up. If the perception of 1337ness can be blamed on anything, I'd say it's the idiotic WTAW levels, as usual.

On topic, at least two of their former staff have confirmed that they have no idea what the countdown is for or who set it up, so if the site is being restarted somehow it certainly isn't a united front. I suppose we'll wait and see what happens.

I can't really make a lot of sense out of your post. Trust me though, ftwr didn't have anything that cant be replaced by another tracker or filesharing method. I guess the myth survives if people like you are going to wait with fingers crossed for it's return.

Let me likewise explain you something.I can post what I want ( consequent to staff approval and me not getting tossed from the site) ...profound statement or not profound statement ( of course both being open to interpretation and dependent on fundamental understanding) is no matter ...and please stop spamming because that , as I seemingly failed to make clear earlier , is another thing that is totally dependent on interpretation.

Btw if staff do feel that I exceed the tolerable limit for spam I'd actually appreciate the warning/infraction and not be shown any favoritism because otherwise I won't know where to draw the line.

OMG I remember BSC, damn...
Well for this the countdown is so long, I say just ignore it until the tenth month than everyone can be like OMG OMG OMG! I never really cared for FTWR though, it's just, I don't know maybe it was the super black design...
