Okay my brother in law wants to get BEV and he is asking me some questions on which i don't have the answer for.
He wants to know is the installation free? He already has a bev dish(the older version) installed on the roof and 1 brand new and factory sealed 4120 receiver with a brand new dish(no contract ofcourse).
The reason he doesn't want to use the dish that is already installed is because the signal sucks its around 52%-56%. The best I have seen it at is 71%. We live next door to each other and my dish is also on the roof but i get 88%-91% signal. I hooked up my receiver to the dish and he gets most channels except for 3 TSN2(401), KTLA(298), & Chek(216) and he needs TSN2 for NHL Hockey and my sister likes to watch CW shows on KTLA.
Also if he has to pay does Bell ExpressVu(Bell Tv) bill him or does he have to pay the installer? In 2001 when i become a customer I had to pay $199 and I had to make the cheque out to the installer. Not sure how things work now.
