Free dvds in this week's/weekend's papers

On Monday in the Daily Mail, you can pick up the next episode - 'The Lies Boys Tell' from your local branch of Tesco or WHSmith store - ABSOLUTELY FREE and then pick up a new disc every day for the next two weeks.

You're probably right and I only saw the advert and not details of how the giveaway worked.

Mind you if you are right I would have thought it was pretty pointless. Not many would have such a shop nearby and even less would want to visit one. Its not quite the same as your local Woolies!
 
You will have already seen that yesterday the Sunday Times gave away a free Discovery Channel DVD covering 4 episodes of a series about Extreme Weather whilst the Mail on Sunday gave away a Quiz DVD, the 2nd part to follow next week which plays with the notion of a Treasure Hunt and offers prizes.

Next Saturday, November 10th, the Sun is due to give away Santa Claus- the Movie starring Dudley Moore. A little premature perhaps but a giveaway none the less!

If you send off for the Sun's horror dvd collection through the post, they throw in an extra movie 'Don't Look In The Basement' (aka 'The Forgotten').

Just checked on IMDb: it was once classified as a video nasty!
