Saturday's Daily Mail DVD

Free this Saturday is 'On Top of the World' DVD which is apparently "the complete COLOUR story of England's historic 1966 World Cup victory".

It is her other Hollywood Wives book. Hollywood Wives The Next Generation. Read the book. It has the character Michael Scorsinni from Hollwood KiRAB in it. Only read the book will watch the dvd on saturday (maybe)

Great thread, but just a quick note that sometimes these free DVRAB are not available in the same week in the same area. Normally that's only the Daily Mail and The Times that do that though.

Quote"...if its in the northern editions this week..."

Does this happen with NOTW as well? Anyone have seen this earlier?

Alice according to some other sites UKHistory on average edit out 6 minutes per episode to fit schedules and adverts etc. If you are particular about it that may cause a concern to you.

I've just received an e-mail from the Telegraph newspaper. ...saying that on Saturday & Sunday they are giving away 2 DVD's over this weekend 30/31 January 2010 (...where has this month gone!!!!???  ). The first DVD in the paper on saturday is 'The Odd Couple' (1968)....then in Sunday's Telegraph is 'A Place In The Sun' (1951)

Free in The Sun next week:

six 'Carry On' movies...saw the advert on the Sun's website, but can't seem to find it again!

One per day, redeem voucher at various stores (usual suspects...Dillons, Martins etc)

One of the free films is 'Carry On Screaming'...my favourite film in the series (tuesday, I think!).

I notice it doesn't say what the capacity of the stick is? Is there a postal option? Even if there is it would probably cost more than buying a stick locally. I would have thought with a one off it could have been put inside the paper.

Wasn't in the SW editions last week either so perhaps we will get it tomorrow.

Anyone know the reason some of these DVD giveaways are regionalised. What's the point of it?
