I missed a couple minutes in the middle, but all and all, an enjoyable episode.
We've had 3 meh episodes, a weak Halloween special, and 2 very good episodes so far.
Anyway, I did not like the added SFX and VO's on the opening. Bart Laughing at his own chalkboard gag kinda ruined it.
Other than that, I really liked how this was a Milhouse character episode. Too often does Milhouse fall into the quick gag character category. While he is the funnier of those characters, I really want to see him evolve. This was his episode.
I really love how Bart pointed out the parents look alike, and how it's only a coincidence. And Milhouse's uncle being Indiana Jones was a nice touch.
And call me crazy, whenever we have an episode where Homer and Marge doubt their marriage or get into a fight like that, and then Homer fixes it at the end...well, it just warms my heart. Nice to see that their marriage can be rocky, but can have it's tender moments.
Oh, and Ralph said something coherent and actually funny. Plus, the joke about the rope climbing class actually went somewhere. So they really put together a good episode.
All and all, I give it a 4 out of five.
