You know the plot to this sounds like something they should of done on American Dad. Like overpatriocism blowing up in Stan's face since it's more "in character" for him. Then again Peter's written enough to be vague enough so that any movement that sweeps into him will make him act full hearted to it. In this one loving his country. And I do have to give credit for FG this time around for actually bothering to come more full circle with the plot: Peter in the end realizes that after living and becoming an illegian immigrant he dosen't have the right to judge them (sort of) and will probably still be hateful of them since no one ever learns a lesson on FG but at least the effort is understandable. Too bad there wasn't really too many good bits. I did like Brian pointing out Peter only knew about 9/11 in 2004, the guy from work who always explains the joke explaining why Peter naming products is funny (only time I really liked one of his things actually), Peter's "birth" in mexico (at least they also bothered to tie in ""Eeter's Two Dads" plot twist to the continuity), Peter failing the immigrant test (though really they've done a much funnier Password Joke in the past in "Wasted Talent"), Peter as a housekeeping maid, the immigrant only being able to list That 70's Show as popular fox comedy (and that's not even on anymore. I suppose if you only counted life action you could not count Back to You but that still only puts it at one show) and Peter misprouncing the guy's name. Like other FG there was a lot of dead air and just grasps for expositions during a lot of it. Not to mention some repeating jokes like the guy backup singing or any of the Cinco De Mayo fesitival stuf wasn't really too enjoyable. Overall better then Simpsons but still not too good a Family Guy.
