Okay, seriously, how many animated shows are golden in their first season? Look back at The Simpsons, King of the Hill, and Futurama. If you were to judge those shows based on their first few episodes, you probably would've never watched them.
And, yes, I am blaming Fox for not sticking with it. Look, their ratings are already in the toilet and they've already spent good money on those nine episodes of SDSU. So because those ratings slip up in the first two episodes, you cancel the show and pray that reruns of The Simpsons and American Dad will make up for it. The bottom line is that Fox isn't willing to try new stuff in their Sunday slot unless it was touched by Seth MacFarlane. And that's not going to last forever.
I will seriously be laughing hard at Fox if The Clevland Show tanks considering they've already ordered a second season before it airs.
