Out of all 3 car companies, who is doing the best financially, and who is doing the worst. Why?

Ford, because they don't need bail out money now is doing the best.
Chrysler has had a bail out before so I think they should go into bankruptcy.
I have a 1994 Chevy (GM) and if they made them like they did back then people would buy them.

When they gave them the "loans" a few weeks back, Ford didn't take any money. GM and Chrysler both said they needed the money or they would basically go broke at the end of January. They're in really bad shape. Ford has said they have enough capital to continue running through the end of the year.

Go with a ford, all the other ones are pretty cheap, but it rly matters on the plan u get.

As it stands, I cannot find the stock quote of Chrysler seeing as how it is a private company and is not even traded on the NYSE. However, between Ford Motor Company and GM, General Motors is actually doing a bit better financially than Ford. GM's highest trade was $4.11. Ford was $2.69. It is obvious though, that all of the American made vehicles are in a slump and at least one of them will go under within the year. From just an educated guess, I would think that Ford would be doing better with their finances when it comes to making a profit since they offer more kinds of vehicles other than gas guzzlers such as their SUV's. their F-series, etc. GM tends to lean more towards the lower milage cars and most people cannot necessarily afford an Envoy with low mileage and a gas bill of $100 per month.

But, in the end, foreign car makers will end up with the most profits. However, that's not part of the question.
