As it stands, I cannot find the stock quote of Chrysler seeing as how it is a private company and is not even traded on the NYSE. However, between Ford Motor Company and GM, General Motors is actually doing a bit better financially than Ford. GM's highest trade was $4.11. Ford was $2.69. It is obvious though, that all of the American made vehicles are in a slump and at least one of them will go under within the year. From just an educated guess, I would think that Ford would be doing better with their finances when it comes to making a profit since they offer more kinds of vehicles other than gas guzzlers such as their SUV's. their F-series, etc. GM tends to lean more towards the lower milage cars and most people cannot necessarily afford an Envoy with low mileage and a gas bill of $100 per month.
But, in the end, foreign car makers will end up with the most profits. However, that's not part of the question.
