Overnight my bike fell over due to bad positioning in the yard, I started the bike and it runs well, revs up well and shifts into all gears well including neutral. The only problem is that the bike will not engage the clutch in any gear. It doesn't even try to stall itself out, it seems as though the clutch does not want to engage at all. In any gear I can release the clutch lever and nothing happens, bike doesn't stutter, jerk, or make any movement other than normal engine activity. The neutral light goes on and off as you shift through the gears. Any clues on what is going on? Something just seems strange about it, for just a fall in the yard on the grass why is the clutch not working? It fell on the left side and could have damaged the shift rod, but it seems to be shifting normally. Could the clutch lever have gotten damaged during the fall? I am rather new to the motorcycle scene and i do not know it all frankly i know nothing, except simple mechanics. Nevertheless i believe it has a hydrolic clutch due to the liquid reservoir by the clutch lever. Would i need to bleed the clutch since the bike sat on its side through the night? Any easy fixes to this problem?
Thanks to all that have answered, I did bleed the clutch. There were some air bubbles in the fluid, after successfully bleeding the clutch it still did not fix my problem. There doesn't seem to be anything blocking the shift rod and it doesn't look bent. I'll be taking the bike to the shop tomorrow and I will update the page here to let you know what is going on to maybe help future bikers with this problem. Again thanks to everyone that answered and if any additional input is available that would be greatly appreciated. Another note, why would the neutral light go off when you push the shift rod up if it was not shifting into second gear if the bike will not allow such an action? Not trying to be argumentative just trying to understand the bike and the problems that occurred from the fall. Also I did think that the clutch lever assembly might have been damaged in the fall but everything looks visually sound.

First off, because of Kawasaki's positive neutral finder, if the bike is not in motion, the transmission cannot be shifted from neutral into 2nd gear, or any gear higher.
It's possible you only"think" the transmission is shifting through all the gears.

Maybe the shift lever is bent and being prevented (hitting something) from making full shifts.
The "slave cylinder" (clutch release assy) could be stuck.
Follow the clutch hose down to the engine - it's attached to the slave cylinder.
Unbolt and remove the slave cylinder from the engine - if nothing is damaged, no fluid will leak out.
Check if the clutch is now engaged - if it is, the clutch lever (at the handlebars) may have damaged the piston of the clutch master cylinder, preventing it from returning.
