For puppy bite training, is it okay to scream when they hurt you more severly? How...

...can I get his trust back? I just tried screaming (a short, not too loud scream, but still a scream) and my puppy was afraid of coming near me after the third time! Now, he's almost completely back to normal. (just a minute or two after.) I really need to teach him not to bite, he's hurt my little brothers too much now, they have cuts, bruises, and those white lines from scratches, (the ones that aren't bleeding) all over their faces, not just their arms and legs, like me. Well, I don't have too many, and they're just on my arms. I tried this screaming thing because the high pitched 'ouch' didn't seem to work, or not giving him attention when he does bite, I've tried ignoring it and rewarding when he lets go, or a few seconds after, and praising him heavily after he licks me. I've tried 'lick therapy' where I coax him to lick me, like with tiny smears of peanut butter, and I've even tried closing his muzzle until he calms down, as in an imitation of when older dogs grab puyppies muzzle's in their mouths to calm them down, and, seeing as he usually calms down when he's on his back in my arms, I've tried that to calm him down. I'm a bit beleiver in teaching from the inside out, making the dog figure it for themselves, instead of the outside in, like muzzle grabs or hitting or forcing or guiding a dog into sit, for example. He's a brilliant golden retreiver, almost 10 weeks old now, and we've had for 1 and 1/2 weeks now, about. He's bonding most heavily to me, as I spend the most time with him. I have no idea what to do next... I'm hoping you guys will provide some answers!
I know it's only been a bit more then a week, and he got a lot worse with me, and now he's better, with me, except maybe once or twice a day. He will growl at me, once every few days, in a vicious way, not just playing, when he tries or succeeds to bite me. He growls and bites at my little brothers s much that they are scared of him whenever he growls, and they run away!
He's being a sweete right now, just sleeping right beside (or on) my foot, and just stretches out or shifts aorund a bit. I feel kind of bad for writing this... Just know that when he is not biting, he is the most amazing little puppy!! I love him, he's forever in my heart <3
