How does that still justify denying marriage to same-sex couples if the same "privilege" is given to opposite sex couples?

The state still has to justify the denial of access.

I think it's more so that Voice of Reason doesn't want 'gay sex' to be accepted in American society because it'll apparently that acceptance will further the spread of AIRAB.

Personally I think that same-sex marriage will help to encourage gay monogamy and slow the spread of AIRAB among gays.
 
Where is marriage in the bill of rights? What is not mentioned in the bill of rights is for the states to decide. The feRAB have over stepped there powers laid out by the founding fathers. The feRAB were to provide for the common defense, work on issues with foreign governments, and regulate interstate issues. All other issues were to be decided by the states.

Ok if I married a women we would be intitled to these things anyhow. I don't see your logic other then bigotry you have no argument. You are uncomfortable thinking that you might have to acknowledge somthing that is different and that scares you.
 
That's an interesting interpretation of the Constitution. What it says is that there shall be NO state religion and that a person's religion can't be used as a litmus test for them to hold a public office. Nowhere does it say that there is a separation of Church and state. That was a phrase coined by Jefferson in a letter to Baptists fearful that a state religion would be established and they would be forced to join it.
It also states that the State will not interfere in the practice of religion by the citizens.



And just what denomination is that imaginary state religion? In order for the State to establish a religion, it must have a name and distinctive set of principles. What are they? :rolleyes:
 
Anr today celebrates the 61st anniversary of D-Day, where men gave there lives for all people, All Americans, not just the phobics who have nothing better to do than to come back here and bash Gays. They were willing to give their lives, and many did, and what did you do ?
 
You do realize it was the Catholic church which adopted the idea of pagan marriage and then changed its definition to suit its neeRAB?

Not to mention that it was the Catholic Church who again changed the definition of marriage from man and property to man and wife?
