If you move to a different state, you HAVE to get a driver's license issued in that state. Normally, you would surrender your old license and be issued one for the new state after paying the licensing fee. If you're 16 though, you're SOL.

This is exactly what was said about interracial marriage in the early part of this century. How is that right now.



Homosexuality has been around as long as people have been around, it only became unsafe when the christians showed up. Marriage would make people feel better about having realtionships. It owuld reward them for having safe, healthy relationships. You cannot have a good relationships while your being promiscuous. Ask any straight or gay couple that have been together for more than five years. They will tell you that those relationships do not last. Marriage put consequence on relationships in the form of divorce. You stand to lose if you screw up. Maybe this is the wayt to make gay men less promiscious.


Crab apples are great for making apple suace and pie. Again, I guess one man's crab apple is another man's desert. Also, gay families do invovle kiRAB. Like it or not kiRAB are invovled. My two lesbian frienRAB have a daughter, My best friend and his partner are raising 3 boys from his previous marriage. Our travel buddies who are lesbians raised a bot and a girl who are now out in the world as adults and doing fine. What is your point?

That is because you are a closed minded bigot. It seems immpossible to you that two men or two women could have a great healthy meanful relationship. But it does happen. You have no evidence that being in a gay relationship is unhealthy. That is a mass generalization. Gays are a hidden population. It is immpossible to have statistics on gay health because it is impossible to find a good sample of gay people. I have had a very healthy same sex relationship for years and even my doctor says I am healthier. I eat better, I get more physical activity ( like a have a choice when you own a house together, somebody's got to cut the grass) We don't go to bars, or pride events, or much else. So even if they were studing gay health around here I wouldn't know it. You base your opinions oin jaded christian preachers and STD statistics. I am turning 35 next week, I am gay and I have never had any STD.

Prove this one from an unbaised source! You can't. There is no evidence to suppport this claim. Again there is no statistical evidence on gay health. Again because gays are a hidden population. It is hard to get a good random sample of what gays are like.
 
I know you're too limited to get this. But, you remind me of the kind of guy women pour drinks on.

As a member of the Roman Catholic Church, we are not talking about gay priests. We are talking about pedophiles; felons, nothing more, nothing less. If one were to check the stats, they would see that pedophiles; as in the Catholic Church are usually straight males, who usually know the victims family, and have easy access to the victim.

Now, the last thing that you said, I don't agree with. We aren't born that way, but we become that way, by going along in life.
 
There's always the risk of a marriage farce between heteros. Is that a reason to increase the liklihood of it occurring by increasing the number of potential perps? Imagine millions of same sex roommates everywhere, even those that are hetero, can claim they're married to share their roommates' benefits from work.
As I've stated before, society has determined that hetero marriage was worth the costs associated with it. It hasn't made that same determination WRT gay marriage.

I wanted to see if you really believed that a parent's sexual practices had ZERO impact on a kid, in your opinion. I never said that your mother acted inappropriately in any way.
 
When you take a whack at the institution of marriage which many religions consider a sacrament, it isn't a perceived threat, It's REAL.
 
I would advise you to read past post, because as I said before the evolution of marriage is already well established.
You seem to have a "hang up" on the word marriage and I imagine it may have something to do with religious notions. If you are one who agrues for the sanctity of marriage then that would be a completely subjective matter, because your piety in commitment is entirely up to you and your partner.
However, your subjective piety is not a state or legal matter that should give anyone the right to deny others to legal contracts (marriage) and you very well know it.
You say you are aware that worRAB are our servants but your actions say otherwise.
 
I'm not sure how it won't apply. Marriages are public acts bestowed with all the state rights. The amendent states they must recognize each other's public acts.

I SUPPOSE congress could rule aganist gay public acts, but that would definitely be a form of discrimnation.
 
There are a lot of people that get married where there is no sexaul relations involved................Surely your not against that?

Yeah, I always thought it strange that Cheney trots Mary out before the election, and when it came to take the oath of office, she was nowhere to be seen on the dais. Elizabeth, her sister, was there, but they hide Mary when it suits their purposes. An ugly act on the Cheneys part.

I do not know what bible you are reading, but I can express this....As far as our children's future....lucky for you in regarRAB to technology...unless you can reasonably explain to me how when sperm meets sperm or egg meets egg then a child is produced, then don't go on about how our children are affected when unless the above is attainable we won't have children to worry about in our future. Family life is disintegrating so stop the temper tantrums. No such thing as Adam and Steve. It was Adam and Eve for a reason. Creation? Ah, yes. The only good thing that came about this posting was it made me double check my bible and brought me to the Word and Truth of God. Thanks
