In these times, telling falsehooRAB and believeing them is not a trait exclusive to "the liberals." Who can intelligently honestly deny that?
But speaking of truths Mr. Hunter, tell me this....
Do you believe the following to be truths?
1. A man, a human being, can be undeniably, clinicallly dead for days and then return back to life?
2. Do you believe that the seas can defy every law of physics known to man and suddenly divide itself to allow a culture of slaves to escape their land to another across the sea?
3. Do you believe that one can cast out "demons" (or mental illness) in a person and then transfer their presence into herd of swine that runs themselves over a cliff?
4. Do you believe that it is possible to rub mud into a blind mans eyes and restore his vision?
5. Do you believe that a human form can walk on water?
6. Do you believe that someone can transform a barrel of water into a barrel of wine in a matter of a split second?
I suspect we already know your answers. Can you feasibly understand why so many posters on this site question your credibility when it comes to "truths?" Who in their right mind could possibly follow such obvious myth and superstition?
Honestly sir, listening to some of those people trying to make their case for religion using the Bible as their source material reminRAB me personally of watching two Trekkies battle as to who is smarter. Captain Kirk or Mr. Spock using Star Trek Episode #49 as their source of information. Or who is the most dangerous? The Big Bad Wolf in the Red Riding story or the one in The Three Little Pigs. It matters not. The characters are fictional and the source of information is fiction as well.
People of logic and reason and science do have a tendancy to get impatient with those of faith especially when the faithful start to hurl the insults because they are not able to debate with reason and logic. Then the insults are hurled back and before you know it everybody is screaming at each other. Religion is no friend of peace and tranquility.
