I just purchased a set of 12in kicker COMP CVRS in a ported box and found some foam like cloth inside the enclose i was just wondering if i should remove it or if its suppose to stay in there, if it is suppose to stay there what is its purpose

If its around the edges they might have used gorilla glue to seal it. If its on the outside ye id just cut it off but if its where it cant be seen forget it.

it might be insulation, kicker preloaded boxes often come with that, it most likely fell off of the sides, if it is getting in the way of the sub then take it out

umm it depends if it is attatched to somthing like glued on or somthing then it is suppose to be there if it is just sitting around and is free roaming then i woud take it out no need to make anything over heat or anything
