Finally N73 is added to NSU

Huh? What's NSS? Sorry to be a noob.. I've been hibernating under a rock lately..

I will guess N Stands for Nokia and one of the S means software..

NSS?

i used euro 2 as well and worked. silent shutter and #key to switch to silent mode. plus bold like font on the active standby. accidentally did chinese version originally but the english font was pretty bad imo and i cant read chinese. so i switched it to euro2.

if phoenix is better for you, then just use that.

I'm looking for it to find the updated firmware for my phone. I don't know what product code it has, I'm trying to avoid re-installing the whole Phoenix setup. The region it's set to is (01). I thought I'd read above people with the same region being able to update without changing anything.

Yeah I was going to install this morning but I was notified of a new version of iTunes first. Talk about taking FOREVER to download and install. Holy mother.

since i updated to the new firmware, the checkbox in the nokia browser does not stay checked after moving the cursor. anyone with similar issues?

This is very geeky but when I ran the NSU program with my 01 N73, I also got a message saying that there were no updates for my phone. I got curious so started a sniffer to view the traffic. What I saw (using Wireshark formerly ethereal) was that I was getting some 'mismatched checksum' or something to that effect in the TCP traffic. So I was actually getting errors but the client was not reporting them instead saying that there were no updates for me.

Anyone here with a failing update care to check if they get the same thing?

i just updated mine, but i have a problem!

about half way or when its almost done.. i get this error...

and my phone gets put into test mode. i need to pull the battery, unplug the cable and boot up the phone, but it appears that the fw has been updated as it shows it on the phone when i hit *#0000#

any ideas?
