Oh I forgot to warn you..

Since your charger is not working or your phone is not charging..

I don't know how you can Update the firmware! Cause Its instructed there that you need a full battery to update the F/W or at least have your phone charging at the same time it does the update..

If your phone dies out during the F/W update.. You will messed up your phone! And it may not power on no more.. You will need Phoenix to revive it or the company called iunlock which is based in boston to revive your phone.
 
Oh I forgot u are always so peacefull and relaxed. I dont care about your needs. Just leave me alone. And maybe u need my games also on dotsis...

the believe the firmware is all the same...however the languages are different...and some minor things...like font style, camera sound...
 
Wonder if we need to install the SMS accelleration patch after this firmware. I am assuming it is part of the firmware....guess we have to wait till the changelog gets available to confirm.
 
Ok, since no one will answer my Adobe Reader question....Seriously, can someone quickly check whether you can launch the program or not!!!!!! PLS!!!!

Also, I had an HK firmware on my phone (and for those whom this bugged) after the upgrade, I can now properly sort my address book by First name Last name (which didn't work before).
 
tried rebooting and everything, i got nothing. don't really feel like reinstalling phoenix, i gotta pack for a trip tonite and work on a powerpoint for work. :-\
 
Ok this might be helpfull....an unoficial change log. (thanks to adancau, dagrim1, Nightsphere).

Active Standby:
- is now in bold font (preferred it the other way, more info would fit on one line, but it's not that bad)
- radio station is now displayed properly, without the extraline above it, in white color (previously it was black font)

Camera:
- Overall feeling is that the camera works a bit faster (opening up, switching to and from Video Mode)
- White balance preview still does not work properly

Gallery:
- Still doesn't close up properly (you would be able to see it if you have a task manager installed)
- Zoom is now slower (progress bar displayed on all zoom levels, on previous firmware progress bar was only displayed for the first step to 25%), but appears to be better quality - hence the reason for slowing down. You can live with it though

New Modem app:
- There's a new Modem app in the Applications folder, it can connect via infrared (only). I suppose you can use the phone as a modem this way, but I'm not sure. No help is included for the new app.

Misc:
- Phone Memory backup restore now works
- 3D Tones seem to work properly now (see bugs below though)
- New ringtones added (some labeled 3D Effect #)
- Voice dialing now works while listening to the radio
- Music playback resumes after a call

Bugs:
- 3D Tones on, listening to music, you get a missed call. Click Show, dial, phone reboots (but manages to connect and ring once

Also:
-It seems that the AD-41/HS-20 headset now seems to work completely:Before there were problems that when the musicplayer wasn't in focus and you paused a track with the headset you couldn't resume (or do any other player related action with it) anymore. Now it all seems to work just as it should! Perfect

-ISO settings work. Now when choosing between low, medium and high I get the values 100, 200 and 400. Before I only got 100, 400 and 400 I believe.
