Seriously, watch it from the beginning - You'll never be the same again. I won't go into it but, honestly, the beginning makes the ending seem a heck of a lot worse.
Arguably one of the best and most heart wrenching films ever. Superb.
Worst films? The Blair Witch Project, The Shining, and The Butterfly Effect (the one with Ashton Kutcher in?)
I wanted to leave the cinema during Escape from LA but would have to have woken up the guy next to me first !!
Odd considering the first film was great but LA was just a poor low budget remake. Same plot different town.
This could be just me, but we hired out The Three Amigos a few years ago on video, watched the intro and turned it off, took the video back the same night and swapped it, can't remember what for.
Surprised by some of these films mentioned in this thread - I really enjoyed Eternal Subshine Of The Spotless Mind (amazing film), Moulin Rouge and Pulp Fiction.
Shawshank Redemption is a classic - just got this on DVD actually.
I don't think I've ever switched a film off half way through - although sometimes I wish I had.
28 Weeks Later was a bit disappointing, and Deja Vu was just ridiculous.
I DID turn AVP off it is shite.
Harry Potter - just wound me up with the crappy acting
Apollo 13 - walked out the cinema was rubbish
Van Helsing - Boring
That films good until they get to the Titty Twister then it gets well stupid.
I walked out of a cinema half way through "Lady in the water" because I was completely and utterly bored. M. Night Shamalayan's films have to me been getting progressively worse but "lady in the water" has to be one of the slowest starts I've ever experienced.
As for films I turned off, me and my best mate tried to watch "Cherry Falls" twice because it was recommended so much. The first time around we couldn't stop talking and virtually missed the film but then after watching it a second time it became clear that the film was just a stinker!
I also got fed up with "My big fat greek wedding" - just didn't find it funny at all.
Killing Dad, this was a film my wife got out on video a few years ago after spending a good hour choosing it. It was the worst film I have ever watched and we still joke about it today.
A close second is Cold Mountain, that film is three hours too long, unfortunately I had to sit through that drivel at the cinema with my wife and her sister who both loved it , given the choice I would have left after 10 mins
