Films you outright refuse to see

Are you homophobic?

I don't mind Sci-Fi, but I don't think I will ever watch the Star Wars films because I don't like the order in which they were made and there were 9 books, right?

I seem to have a vague recollection that there was an episode IV at the beginning of the crawl on the original Star Wars when it was first released. I can

You're not alone, I never have or want to see any of them. I went to the cinema yesterday and we saw the trailer for Casino Royale. Mate turned round and said: "We have GOT to go and see that." She got such a filthy look.

Also, Saw, The Exorcist, Amityville Horror, any movies like that. Any future High School Musical sequels or any other Disney Channel Original Movies. Star Wars films.

I think that's it.

Unfortunatly I have already seen it.
Don't ever watch the Hollywood version of The Vanishing. Watch the dutch/french original as it is a billion times better.

Some of these "Brit-flicks", all these utterly poor Teen movies, any of these 9/11 movies, any movies that make out the US are geniuses and the rest of the world feeble and weak (not anti-American as I enjoy lots of things American but movies like this anger me), "horror" movies that don't even try (there's a lot these days).

One movie that I did see (on video years ago) and refuse to see again is Titanic. Quite possibly the single worst movie of all time, really annoying, 5 minutes about the actual sinking, tripe, boring I could talk all day about how bad the whole movie was, I felt like killing myself at the end of it and it robs a whole day of your life too. My mother and everyone were crying and I felt like banging my head of a wall. The fact this movie got laden with Oscars should rank as the darkest moment in the history of the Academy AwarRAB.

I'd advise you to stay away from flims such as American History X and A Time to Kill then. Ditto absolutely anything to do with Nazi Germany.

No. I just don't particularly want to watch a gay love story. It just doesn't appeal to me. I hate to disappoint those of you who are looking to have an argument over this.

Harry Potter
James Bond - liked the Sean Connery ones, refuse to watch any of the clones
Lord of the Rings - too hyped
Any modern British comedy with Hugh Grant in it
Anything mooshy
Sequels to Disney movies which should never, ever have had a sequel, i.e. The Jungle Book, Peter Pan, Cinderella - leave the classic Disney's alone and don't tarnish them with crap sequels!!

Got some very filthy looks in the cinema as I sniggered my way through that bit, made the previous 17 hours (well that's what it felt like) worthwhile :D

The latest 2 Star Wars films, after sitting through TPM there's nothing that could pursuade me to sit through the last two

Oh yeah.
I will never watch any of the Rocky films.
I know they are popular, but I don't need to spend my time watching a load guys knock the s*it out of each other be it in a live match or a cinematic production. I hate boxing.

agreed.

I guess they would argue that they are bringing it to a whole new audience who otherwise wouldn't see it. Like how many Americans would bother to watch the japanese version of The Ring, and you can't argue with the success of the new version of The Italian Job (how dare they!).

However, it almost never works out and I would always prefer to see the original.

TPM was very bad, but by the time it gets to Revenge of the Sith everything picks up nearly to the Return of the Jedi level.
