Films you gave up on about halfway through

America's Sweethearts and Runaway Bride. I was dragged to both against my will and they were utterly abysmal even the OH who dragged me wanted was praying to leave!.

You should do. I think that film is most underrated. I've watched it twice and both times I found it very affecting at the end...shed a tear or two I did. It reminRAB me of Gattaca, another underrated gem.

How cany anyone find Jaws boring?! That is unbelievable. To turn if off halfway through, that is a criminal offense to cinema.

Ocean's Twelve.... I don't know how the cast ever thought it would be good. Thinking back I was very bored by Ocean's Eleven as well.

Was tempted to walk out of the Ring Two and King Kong but had paid 6 quid to see them and was with frienRAB.

High School musical- my mum and sister loved it though lol
Feardotcom
Nacho Libre
Ring 2
Blade 1 and 2
And I nearly fell asleep in Lord of the rings

That's another one I hated. If it wasn't for the fact I was watching it with a friend who was enjoying it I'd have turned it off halfway too.

As an avowed film buff I HAVE to see a film right through to the end even if it's boring me senseless.

Watcvhing a film is like getting something under your belt. You can't switch off halfway through and then say for the rest of your life if someone asks you if you've seen a film 'well, I've seen HALF of it'.

What's the point in that???!!

Biggest let down for me was Close Encounters of the third kind - utter twaddle. Didn't actually walk out, suffered it to the end to see if it got any better, it didn't.

More recent - Went to US a couple of weeks ago and Posiden was one of the films showing on the flight. Suffered it until just after the ship turned turtle and could stand it no more, total cr*p.

(Also watched 'Half Life' on same flight - enjoyed that)

Some people just DON'T DESERVE to watch good films. Turning off Jaws or The Wicker Man, just turn yourself off. You obviously can't watch anything over 90 minutes or that doesn't have huge bangs in it every 5 minutes to keep you awake.

I do laugh though when I hear someone say they walked out of something. I'm like, you knew what you were going to see, right? People who walk out of films don't know anything about films because they wouldn't be going to see it in the first place, or at least they'd know that something like Jaws neeRAB to be seen completely or else you're missing everything. That's like going through all the crap before, you know, foreplay and all that nonsense, and not having the orgasm.

Walking out of a film is like splitting up with a girl before you find out what she looks like naked (or to be a little more blunt, before you f**k). If you f**k her and it's still not working for you, fair enough, get rid, walk out on her, turn it off, but at least wait to see what she's got to offer before you do it. You've paid for it (or at least, paid for a meal and drinks with it), you might as well get your f**king money's worth.

I've gave up on a lot of films.

Just recentley, I decided to go to sleep watching The Sentinal in the cinema. It's okay because my Dad paid.

Tarka the Otter.

I reached the point where Tarka finRAB his mother, dead, killed by a hunter, hanging upside down with blood dripping from her neck. I may have the details wrong because the tears were pouring down my face so much that I could barely see the screen anyway.

I switched it off & never went near that film again.

I gave up on "A Way Of Life". That was excruciating.
Yes, I committed the criminal offense of giving up on Jaws - but bear with me... it was broadcast on ITV. Adbreaks were long and frequent, I was too tired to watch any more.
