Films you gave up on about halfway through

Eternal Sunshine seems to be the kind of film that really divides opinion. I'd recommend it to everyone so you can make up your own mind about it. Personally, I love it to bits. :D

xx

I gave up on "Withnail and I" after about three-quarters of it I think. Hadn't laughed once, wasn't enjoying it at all, so off it went - a shame as I'd been really looking forward to it.

Same here, omg that movie was mind numblingly boring, I turned off after half an hour.

Blair Witch is another also.
Evita
Romeo & Juliet (Leo Dicap & Claire Danes)
Gosford Park
Road Trip
Amitty Vill Horror

Me too. I only managed about 15 mins of it and then left the cinema. It is, without doubt, the most pointless movie I have ever seen (a bit of). There was just no plot at all from what I saw - not one that you could grasp anyhow.

White Noise, sort of..stopped paying attention halfway through. And Failure to Launch. All we wanted was a nice fluffy girly film...it was SO pants!! Just turned it off and went to bed lol

Same here. It had a lot of potential with the content, but it abused it in a Hollywood way and made it OTT with proper ghosts and crap.

Solaris. Have it on DVD but can't watch it. Might finish it someday. It tried to hard. Captain Corelli's Mandalin (no idea how you spell it). It is bad and just utterly pointless.

Would have stopped watching OCean's 12 but I thought their would be some major plot twist. The fact that

The cup thing was a hologram

was stupid. What kind of pointless twist is that? COmpletely un-guessable. A plot twist should be guessable, but the harder it is to do so makes it better. If it is impossible to do so then it is stupdid.

Lone Star (1980's cop/western film).
Mystic River. It is supposed to good but I couldn't stick with it.
