I have the recent release of The Godfather trilogy in the steelbook which replaced the original release I bought a few years back, but I haven't got round to watching it yet. It's amazing how many people say that they haven't seen The Godfather. I did start watching it a few months ago, but I found the first speech by Marlon Brando quite quiet and incomprehensible. The new release has better sound and picture so I will definitely get around to watching it this week. Perhaps I wasn't in the right mood at the time, or I just need to change the sound levels on my surround system
I've seen a lot of the films mentioned elsewhere apart from Dirty Dancing and Grease (not really my thing) and The Sound Of Music (I do have and watch a lot of musicals but I prefer the Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby and Gene Kelly ones, although I do like West Side Story of the later ones)
I will never watch a Harry Potter film as these do not appeal to me in the slightest. As for The Deer Hunter, I do love the film but felt a bit unsure about the beginning of it, so perhaps I will have to watch this again
Finally, Citizen Kane is a classic, but who doesn't think of the Simpsons episode, where Mr Burns lost his teddy bear when they watch it
