Did anyone see the advert that was on before The Osbournes last night? Looks like LOTR is finally coming to Terrestrial TV. I've seen it a million times, but I can't wait! The ad campaign looks amazing..

Was it along the lines of...

"You queued up with all the other geeks to see it in the cinema 17 times--You downloaded it from the internet, just to tide you over until the DVD came out--You bought the DVD to tide you over until the Special Edition DVD came out--You bought the Special Edition DVD to tide you over until the Collectors DVD Box Set came out--You bought the Collectors DVD Box Set to tide you over until we find another 9 hours of footage on the cutting room floor, and release yet another Super-Duper Special Edition Collectors DVD Box Set--But Now, you can watch it on Channel 4, cut to shreRAB so it's only half as long, and WITH ADVERTS"

...by any chance?

Three hours long, with adverts, they're gonna have to start it at tea time, if the kiddies are gonna get to see it all before they're ushered off to bed

The reason for this post was to highlight the fact that one of the best films ever made (and I can justify that with the number of awarRAB/box office it's grossed) is coming to mainstream television. A lot of people haven't seen it yet. I'm just informing them. No need to get all sarcastic and judgemental...

Channel 4 are bad with advert. Not as bad as channel 5 though.

Knowing me I'll probably watch it. I wactched it on cable in germany (in german) last week and its wierd with adverts.... sort of devalues it.

Stupid seeing at I have the film 4 times.
