FCC Complaint Forms on The Simpsons

These complaints are lulworthy.

Christans zealots just wanting to force their opinions on others. Do these people look at the ratings? Shows like South Park and Family Guy have TV-MA and TV-14 ratings for a reason, they are not for children. People need to stop looking as all cartoons as kid shows, and more as any other program like House or Scrubs. This reminds me of people getting mad at seeing Bart's penis in The Simpsons Movie. They thought "Oh, it's The Simpsons, and it has toys at Burger King! It must be for kids!", but it had a PG-13 rating, which means its not for kids.

I always loved that Taz-Mania joke

* Taz rampages through forest, causing carnage. Suddenly he stops and addresses the audience in uppercrust perfect English*
"I'm late for work"
*resumes feral rampage*

:D

Agreed. Seriously, Taz and Down Syndrome? No connection comes to mind. Share your opinion, okay. Force your opinion? No way, Mona-may.

Of all the kids I knew with Down Syndrome, not one of them tried to eat an entire antellope or a bowling ball. But, I can't vouche for the truthfulness of that article, being on wikipedia and all. but still... watch a freaking Taz cartoon prior to Taz Mania. He ALWAYS talked like that. Even worse, actually.

Yeah, but the question is, why does the rest of his family talk normal? In the old Looney Tunes shorts you assumed that all Tazmanian devils snorted and grunted. But, on Taz-Mania the other Tazmanian Devils talk normally and all Taz can do is grunt and snort.

That's the premise. It's one wild child amoungst a normal utlra cliched family. It's actually quite a decent little sit com desconstruction if you look at it close enough. Though, safe to say, the parents probably acted like that for years until they became civilized. One time, the father built a house of cards that wouldn't stand up, and he went into a whirlwind of fury, just like his son. That to me suggests they still have some beast in them. Taz is the only one comfortable (or stubborn) enough to express it.

Not really. If anything, the ones who raise a stink about controversal material are the neglectful parents (usually). So if anything, if a parent is making a complaint about contents, then I would look into the background of the parent and see if they can be brought up on negligence charges.

They say lawsuit, I say countersuit.
