Favourite Final Destination film?

Mines is by far the original, however I loved the 2nd one as well. Devon Sawa and Ali Larter were both fantastic in the first movie. The deaths weren't gruesome enough to make you nearly sick, however they were definately a bit hard to watch and Terry's death was SO sudden! It definately made me jump when it happened. What I didn't understand was how death supposedly "skipped" Alex (after he sacrificed himself for Clear), but then returned to try and kill him in Paris? If Death skipped Alex, why did he wait three months then go to Paris and attempt to kill him again? It was a bit confusing. That aside - I loved the characters and I thought the premonition was very realistic.

I enjoyed the 2nd one as well. I thought the characters of Kat and Rory were hilarious. The deaths in this film were alot more gruesome (the premonition, Evan being impaled, Nora's head stuck in the lift, Kat getting impaled through the head) but it actually felt like a horror film and we got to know all the characters before their inevitable death.

The 3rd one was awful. I think the main problem was the focus on the two main characters and not enough screen time for the others. The first two films let us get to know the other characters, but in this film the only time we saw the others was at the premonition and then at their death scenes, so I didn't really care much.

I hope the 4th one is better than the 3rd at least!

Probably the 1st one (the shock of the opening scenes cannot be topped), but I really liked the 3rd one too. The 2nd was still a good film, just not as good as the others I don't think. Looking forward to the 4th.

I hated the third one.
I've never seen a bunch of irritatting, annoying ***** who I wanted killed more !
Some of the kills were quite inventive though !

Definitely the first one, by far...

I'd didn't really like the second. The ending was just silly.

I quite liked the third... Agreed, the characters were annoying. But it was then a bonus to see them all get killed off.

Looking forward to number 4...in 3D! :D

The first one. I loved the concept of cheating death and then death striking back and taking them all, one by one.
The death scenes are gruesome!

I also enjoyed Final Destination 2.

The Final Destination franchise is one of the finest exponents of blunt force trauma savagery for me. My personal favourite is the plate glass window following the dentist visit.

The wire fence dismemberment is fairly spectacular too.

That is my favorite death too. Aswell as the ladder falling directly through the lottery winner's eye. My favorite Final Destination film is number 1. As i felt it was more suspenseful. Number 2 was enjoyable too.

1st, 3rd, 2nd in that order.

I recently just watched them again and my opinion hasn't changed, I enjoy all three but prefer the two Wong entries over Ellis's part two (it has some great deaths though).

The second opening sequence doesn't do it for me like the 1st and 3rd, personally the thought of rollercoasters and flying are two things I find scary so those openings tick the right boxes.
