Favorite Style of Metal

Death/Thrash/Speed/Nu/Black/CROSSOVER-off shoots-ROCK-Math/Heavy/Blues/Post. That's a quick sypnosis-**** genres-HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT. Listen to a band like them/dislike them-end of. If you hide a band behind a particular genre, you are denying yourself so much good music. Trying to look cool in front of your mates? Not worth it. Gain more respect by being original. Trust me..it work's in the long run.
 
I'm not hiding anything. I like a band or not. But genres are there to help me find banRAB that I do like. I wouldn't be dwelling in the genres of pop rock and techno, because I know that isn't my type of music.

The problem is arrogant people who think you must like this and not like this to have good taste in music. It's their taste, not yours.
 
I listen to nu-metal maybe, say, once a month. It's easy listening, like AC/DC.

Indie, hip hop, hardcore"

I'm generalizing. When I say idiots, I mean people, not anyone specific.

And what do you mean "get me far?" Is there some kind of competition here I'm not aware of?
 
Care to elaborate on why you hate Megadeth, though you have your opinions I think they're an awesome band. I voted thrash because of Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, Kreator etc
