Titus Andronicus - A More Perfect Union

Perhaps my favorite song from my favorite album of 2010, The Monitor, and certainly the one that stanRAB best on its own.

I was just coming to add something from that album. Probably either that one, "The Sweet Part of the City," or "We Can Get Together."

And I'm in the same boat with you there. It's been a good year so far--a lot of things to take up my attention.

I've heard good things about the album this is from. Very classy song that, so I might just have to go get it. Cheers for the reminder sir :thurab:

A new favourite of mine;

Good old 4AD :love:

Fang Island's "Daisy" is my favorite song of the year so far, followed by Dillinger Escape Plan's "Widower".

Local Natives - Airplanes. I know the album was released in UK in Noveraber but in the States it was released in 2010. So technically, it still counts, right?

Kayo Dot's "Whisper Ineffable"

Holy ****'s "Silva & Grimes"

Beach House's "Walk in the Park"

There's a few on Joanna Newsom's new album, but I listened to the album in its entirety and never really bothered to check what song was playing when I was paticularly enthralled. So I don't know...

Finally, the summer. I can start digesting some new music...

I'm just scratching the surface of this album, but I'm already really impressed. I adore his voice.

I agree with Alfred that Foxy's new album is full of the best songs of 2010, but I'mma pick a different one than him. Also the best music video of 2010 that I've seen.

It's funny because prior to last night, I had absolutely no clue who Dessa was. Then as I am driving along the street, listening to 90.5 KUT-Austin, they play one of her songs (I can't tell you which one.) What makes it more interesting is that (as by Wikipedia, Dessa is hip-hop) this station rarely plays any hip-hop music, generally just alternative country, a little jazz, "indie" rock and some psychedelic rock. I thought it was rather cool that I knew who she was though!
