"Casablanca"..............................amazing film. Also "Its a wonderful life."

12 angry men is a great film though and really does prove the less is more thing.

Alot of the Frank Capra ones including It's a Wonderful Life, Mr Smith Goes To Washington and It Happened One Night.

Casablanca, Ninotchka ( Greta Garbo), San Fransisco, The Lady Vanishes, Freaks, The Philadelphia Story, Suspicion, Jane Eyre

No it's too much, theres far too many I love!

'Touch of Evil.'

um... now I'm thinking of 'Rope' and 'Psycho'!! Erl... now 'The Maltese Falcon' comes to mind! 'Citizen Kane', "White Heat", 'Double Indemnity'!!

But... 'Touch of Evil' still wins. Orson being big and bad!

You're right. I've just found it on an old VHS tape I didn't know I still had. First 35 minutes are black and white, then it becomes colour when they reach the Zone. The last scenes (at home) are sepia and the very last scene (the daughter moving glasses on the table) is colour again. Excellent film but doesn't really qualify for this thread, sorry :)
