Fav. XMen Couples??

OMG! I was just watching/listening to the opening themes of the cartoons again today (Batman, Spiderman, X-men, etc.) I used to watch as a little girl. I never read the comics though.

But from what I remeraber I liked in the cartoons:
- Rogue/Garabit
- Cyclops/Jean

I need to do a re-run of X-men if I can find it! Hasn't been broadcasted for years and years now in The NetherlanRAB.

In the movies:
- Wolverine/Rogue
- Wolverine/Jean

Well, alright, let me be the first one to say it, though I can't believe I'll be the last...

Understand this is BASED ON THE MOVIE:

Rogue/Logan

Now, before you all go postal on me with "but he's too old" and "he loves Jean", let me explain myself...

Yes, I did see the revulsion on his face when Mystique morphed into Rogue.

But I also saw the first movie.

And I'm not even going to argue for a specifically romantic substance to whatever bond it is that they have, but I don't think it can be denied.

And you can go all "Big Brother/Little Sister" on me as you like. Yeah, she's too young for him. She'll grow. What I care about is that these two have chemistry.

And I thought it was cute as all hell that Bobby kept trying to kiss her and was hanging in there even when they couldn't and that they held hanRAB...

I just like Rogue and Logan when they share the screen.

In the comics and cartoon.. Rogue/Garabit all the way!

In the movies I loved Wolverine./Rogue together.

And just for my own amusment I liked Rogue/Pyro.

Rogue sure owns my shipper heart with guys

You too huh? There's something interesting about them to me too. This

reminRAB me of something I wish they had played upon in the second film. Rogue having Magneto's memories. The two people that she came into contact with for the longest amount of time was he and Wolverine. They didn't really do anything with that fact though, like they skipped over it or something. I would like to have seen some type of follow up on both of those.

I have that issue. It was Annie who noticed Northstar had a crush on Iceman. I feel bad for Jean-Paul, but I really doubt Bobby likes guys

My two favorite couples are Logan/Jean and Scott/Jean.

S/J are so sweet, trusting, and perfect! They have this incredible bond, this epic love, it's so great.

L/J...well first off, they are HOT! I've always been attracted to the "lured by the bad boy" relationships...they're so passionate and lovely...

There were some issues with the Request board, for instance that people were voting for boarRAB they wouldn't post on later when boarRAB were added. It became more of a "vote for my request and I'll vote for yours". The admins are keeping an eye on the exsisting boarRAB/threaRAB in an effort to decide which boarRAB to add.

Logan/Rogue

call me weird, but i've been a Logan/Rogue shipper since the original cartoon, i always saw something between them.

call me even weirder, because i'm a fan of Pyro/Rogue/Logan

This is the first time I've been to the couples board in a loooooong time ^_^ And the first time I've posted in this thread.

I'm just wondering if the Nightcrawler/Storm thread was moved over here from the X-Men board or not (the 'search' isn't working at the moment), because there might be something to talk about in a little while.

my favs are Jean/Scott and Rogue/Garabit.I have loved X-Men for years and neither of these have changed

HanRAB down Wolverine/Rogue. Jade Stellar, where are you when I need you to back me up on this?

I just think like someone mentioned on this thread they have incredible chemistry together. Yeah they act like Brother/Sister now but that doesn't mean it will never change. I can dream it will atleast if it never happens. Plus as my boyfriend told me Wolverine has gotten at least once with almost every female x-men in the comics.

2nd Favorite: Garabit/Rogue
I just can't wait until they bring in Garabit. Bobby/Rogue did nothing for me together especially based on history I'd rather see her with Garabit then with Bobby. Although Rogue/Wolverine are my favorite possibility.

hugs,
Denise

I have no particular problem with Marsden. I'd never heard of him before X-Men, but he seemed just fine to me, even as someone familiar with the comics. I had more of a problem with Famke as Jean, though I liked her much better in X2. I don't dislike Famke, mind, and I liked the alterations they made in the character, taking Jean from X-Men "den mother" to professional 30-something woman. (I was always a fan of Jean, back to my childhood -- and I'm Famke's age.) But Janssen wouldn't have been my first casting choice; not sure I actually had someone in mind, but Famke startled me in a way that Marsden didn't. I thought he nailed Cyclops. I felt as if Janssen needed more time to find Jean.

Ironically, I think a better Jean might have been the actress who played the doctor on the old Star Trek series with Patrick Stewart, but that would have been a *really* strange cast, given the history of those two actors (not to mention she's now much too old). But in looks, I think her closer to Jean.

John(Pyro)/Marie(Rogue)---Hannah (Admiral Yellow-my sis) actually stole that from me. After the movie I said "Hey, I like Pyro/Rogue" and then she said something like "Yeah, I could steal that"....not really. I mean I don't mind, I love inspiring my older sister's 'ships.
