Oh yeah, I completely forgot about those particular physical traits. Damn, I don't know how, I remeraber catching it the first time I saw the first X-movie. You are right, though, about Logan being short and stocky. Damn, that is really, really weird, now that you mention it, the scene where he restrains Scott.
The hair thing, I don't know. I know it was taller in the books, but that's just an artist thing. Like how Rogue's eyes always change color, how Artie and Leech constantly change colors, Banshee's hair and eyes, etc., etc. I know Logan was one hairy MF, though.
I like Joe Mad b/c he made everyone look damn good (as in sexy, I was digging people I never dug before,
). I should also mention Digital Chameleon (if that's their name). They did some amazing stuff with the X-issues, especially one with a ghost. It was amazing. I think Jim Lee's X-men would probably be the most accurate image of them and that's what they should have used when they did their recruiting for the movie or whatever. I wasn't a fan of Rob Liefield, either. I think he did books I didn't read, like Youngblood. I bought those comics from dollar stores and sold them on online auctions. Not someone who did x-books, but Todd McFarlane always amazed me. I love his attention to detail.
Back to x-couples, I just thought of another one, don't know if this is popular or not, but Cable and Domino. I don't know what's happening with them lately, though. I think people were also pairing Kitty with Kurt, too. I don't really care much for them b/c I was never an Excalibur fan.
I was just thinking about Wolverine and Jean again and I think they go beyond lust. Maybe Jean lusts after Logan b/c he's wild and dangerous, but she still loves Scott. Logan just loves Jean for probably all the obvious reasons (she's caring, etc etc). I mean, the guy would die for her.
