Family Guy - "Welcome Back Carter" - Talkback [10/10]

This episode was way better than last weeks. My favorite part was the letter factory where Peter ran out of w's. I knew Peter would ruin his easy ride with getting whatever he wanted. Anyone else think the next time we see Babs and Carter they will be having no marital problems? I can't believe I have to wait almost a month for new episodes of Family Guy, American Dad and the Simpsons.

Huh, Lipnicki actually hasn't turned out THAT bad. But quite far from his toothpick nerd boy days to be sure.

Solid episode. Not as big in the LOL department, but good in that funny chuckle parts. Loved the PBS gag, Carter's attempts to explain himself, the catchphrases, the factor running out of W's, the 4th wall break of the curtain scroll, and of course the epic slow version of "The Bird's the Word."

You'd think that joke would get tired, but then they hit with that slow version, and just... wow. Perfect. I need an mp3 of that.
 
This was a really funny episode, although I felt some of it was a bit long, what with no subplot and no kids. Actually, just the beginning dragged, but the PBS joke was funny.

The rest of the episode was solid.



Maybe it's okay since Quagmire himself isn't married. I find it a bit...ironic...well, poetic justicey...that Peter says Babs looks like someone farted in a shoe whereas young Babs looks a lot like Lois, so she's going to look like her mother one day.



That...depresses me.
