Broadcast Order: Season 7, Episode 9
Production Order: Season 6, Episode 13

Remember how much everyone hated the Bill Clinton episode? Guess who's on tonight. O.J. Simpson!

Plot:

I'll just wait until the episode to say something.....

That being said, so are they being consistent with the episodes now or will they start jerking around the schedule?

I loved when Peter asked if O.J. would be offended if he would sign a basketball and when Joe said yes, Quagmire just went away with his basketball.

They really are running out of ideas.

This type of plot was done. TWICE.

First with James Woods (which was pretty funny, actually)

Then with Jesus (I think you guys liked that one)

Now, it's O.J. Simpson, who is, by the way, in jail right now, so the timing couldn't be any more...what's the word? Oh, whatever.

EDIT: Make that a 4th time, forgot to include Bill Clinton.

Okay, what are they going to say with this episode that THREE CUTAWAYS (at least from what I remember), not to mention infinite pokes from The Simpsons and South Park couldn't say?

If they had to play a whole song, it should've been Dust In The Wind. Kansas rules.

So far, very weak.

EDIT: Alright, pasta spill murder was funny. And football Stewie.

It's kind of late to be making O.J. Simpson jokes now, isn't it? Mind you, I know that this episode was made several months in advance, but in what way could the FG writers parody O.J. that hasn't already been done in the past 15 years?

South Park would have done this episode, or an obvious parody of O.J.'s current situation, the week it happened, which would have put it in last season's batch of episodes.

The Back to the Future reference was funny. The Conrad Twitty sequence was too long, but for some reason the fact that such a serious, unrelated clip was so long was actually funny (though I kept expecting the chicken to break through the scene and attack Peter). I also like the dumb Beaver.

It was somewhat understandable for early in Family Guy's return to miss out on certain jokes, like one where Meg interrupted an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond only after the show ended. Now they have a poor habit of bringing stuff up too long after the fact.

See what happens when you leave people waiting for eternity?
