Family Guy - "Dog Gone" - Talkback [11/29]

After this episode, I can understand the reason for Quagmire's rant in last week's episode.

Also, I personally didn't find the maid subplot to be that funny.

I agree. It's times like this where don't understand how people say these characters learn lessons. I'm actually okay with their amorality. This episode was still funny, though.

I understand. I found it kinda funny because i've met people like that in real life. It was more of an annoying funny, than a laugh out loud funny moment when I think about it.

I have to admit, the Spanish radio/TV gag was funny.

"Cinco, cinco, cinco!"

Unfunny gag characters should not be used in main plots. They still won't be funny. Maid who listens to no one was never funny in cut aways and she is not funny now.

An unfunny gag character and graphic acts of violence are not what I'd consider comedy. The ending and a couple random chuckles are all that save this one from failure.

Brian expecting his "murder" to apply to human law was a cute idea, I always like when the show plays with the reality of Brian being a talking dog in a world of otherwise "normal" animals.

He loves meat, though. I don't see why he'd suddenly decide to go vegetarian. It might have made better sense if he'd only cared about dog rights rather than all animal rights. It'd be hypocritical but that's nothing new for him.
