Family Guy - "April in Quahog" - Talkback [4/11]

So apparently, the rumor is that Mike Judge recorded his voice for Hank Hill, but when he saw the final product animated he was offended by southern pedophile jokes that were made, and Seth was forced to cut the scene.

I thought it was a crossover episode, oh well, I'm not upset, but that episode cracked me up, hahahaha, & I've enjoyed that Family Guy crossover in The Cleveland Show & the American Dad! crossover in the awesome Stewie Kills Lois 2-parter though.

This one let me down. I didn't even care about the promised crossover -- I wanted manic destruction on the level of "Da Boom," one of their best. There was so much gag potential resting in everyone living out their last day on Earth and it wasn't utilized well.

I think I believe it. There's enough proof to convict.

It's Family Guy, there's all the proof you need.

After seeing that no crossovers have happened yet, I was wondering if the end result of the black hole would be all the Fox cartoons being in the same universe.

I was anxious to see the crossover :crying:

Until I read the rumor, I thought maybe Fox had cut the King Of The Hill part since that show isn't part of animation domination anymore, and could save it for Adult Swim since both FG and KoTH air there. But if the American Dad crossover was real, I don't know why they would've cut that.

I liked this episode. I loved the comeback of "Surfin' Bird". I did not like how they did the 2nd story in the last act though, felt kind of rushed and just put there.

Maybe the American Dad cast appearance will appear in a different Family Guy episode soon.

Too much Crystal Meth in the 3rd. part.

So, the black hole situation was APRIL FOOL'S by Tom and Diane.

Mayor West makes the ORION PICTURES logo, Next time Mayor West should create the Paramount Pictures logo by throwing stars in the sky.

And: For the Oscar cutaway: The RED GUY should have been the Whammy from the 1980's Press Your Luck game show to get the winning award. But a boob nominated?

lol, reading everyone's reactions from the start of this topic to end was hilarious. I loved this episode, and it's too bad they didn't air this episode on the 4th to really hit home with the April Fool's.

No real reason to expect that, except a personal obsession. ;)

If anything, it'd be only the McFarlane shows ... but it's been established that they do all exist in the same universe, in fact.

"I am so [CENSORED] ready..." *jumps through roof*.

This was pretty weak but had some humorous moments. I didn't hear about the crossover but I can see why some would be disappointed.
