Family Guy Anime?

I just realized that MacFarlane & Company have never done an anime spoof on Family Guy. While his buddies like Butch Hartman have. Wouldn't it be funny if they eventually did spoof anime? Like have Stewie build a robot and battle against Bertram. Peter could have a Dragonball-esque fight with the chicken. Meg would be the flat-chested girl surrounded with the big breasted ones. etc etc etc.
 
You never know, maybe the next "Cavalacade" will be a "Sailor Moon" spoof. Sailor Moon gets into trouble, she starts pointing out something to queen Berryl about the many problems that were in the show, and the cartoon ends without a punchline...I can see it now!
 
Oh god, they have already [spoofed] everything good in animation, please don't take this out on anime too..

You're right, perhaps I should suggest something else, like making a "Cavalcade" about a team of frog aliens who end up having to stay in the back room of some random occult obsessed boy.
 
Stewie in a full metal alchmest parody or peter in a DBZ parody would be funny or having meg trapped in a Yuri anime would be funny as heck! & you no what Mcfarlene is just messed up enough to try any of these ideas...& I bet you 10 will see an anime spoof in FG some time this year or next year now because of this thread!
 
I doubt that Seth and company would attempt to parody Full Metal Alchemist because FMA isn't a mainstream hit; it's following is cult at best. Parody only works if the vast majority knows what's being parodied. If Seth were to use his FG characters for an anime parody, he would most likely choose an anime that most people are familiar with, like DBZ, Pokemon, Speed Racer or Sailor Moon.
 
Well, FG has certainly parodied or referenced an obscure source before. But still, the chances of an FG writer deciding to include a reference to FMA is probably slim to none.

But seriously folks, I think a FG anime is a bad idea. And even if it does become a reality, it probably won't be anything besides flashback gag.
 
Maybe. Maybe not. Look at the chicken fight for example. Only the first one was a flashback. The rest were like...plot interruptors. :confused: Oh, what about the episode where Stewie and Brian travel back in time to WWII? None of the battle scenes were flashbacks. Actually...now that I think about it...if they were to spoof anime it would probably be a "Road to.." episode. Road to Japan. lol.
 
Love Family Guy (despite the show starting to feel a bit lost)... Hate Anime or whatever you want to call that crap. No offense to fans of the genre.

Don't mix them.
